  • Email Authentication: New users can now sign up again! The email auth gremlins have been vanquished. Welcome aboard, future DadLinkers!
  • Existing Users: You beautiful people are completely unaffected. Keep on dad-joking!

Still Wrestling With 🤼

  • Password Reset: This stubborn feature is still playing hard to get. We're debugging it with the fury of a dad who can't find the TV remote.
  • Timeline: Once we squash this bug, it'll be included in V3 and live within 24-48 hours of App Store approval.

The Deployment Dance 📱

  • These are code-based fixes, so once we nail them, we submit to the App Store overlords.
  • Apple's review process typically takes 24-48 hours (they need time to appreciate our dad jokes).
  • V3 will include all these fixes and auto-update for everyone.

It's 01:55 AM in the UK and we're STILL AWAKE! Powered by McDonald's, instant noodles, and pure determination. 5 coffees an hour isn't a lifestyle choice, it's a commitment. We're eternally sorry for the inconvenience and promise we're working harder than a dad trying to assemble IKEA furniture without instructions. 🔧

Fix Complete App Store Submission Pending

What’s Been Fixed

  • Login Flow: Email verification and login restoration have been fixed. New users will soon be able to sign up again.
  • Localized Strings: The missing localized string in the husband menu flow has been restored.

Still Being Worked On

  • Wifey AI Chat: Replies from the AI are currently disappearing or not being delivered properly. We are actively debugging ghosting issues in the wife chat flow.
  • Game Flow Additions: In-app links to the game section of the website are being added to expand your available activities inside the app.

Next Steps

  • Version 3 of the app will be submitted to the App Store in the early hours of Thursday, October 16.
  • Once submitted, Apple typically takes 24–48 hours to review and approve new versions.
  • Once approved, the update will roll out to all users automatically.

  • New User Sign-Up: Some users are unable to complete the sign-up process. This is due to a code-level issue in the iOS app’s authentication flow.
  • Password Reset: Reset links are not functioning as expected, preventing account recovery.

Resolution Plan

  • Our team is actively working through the day and evening to resolve the underlying issue.
  • A new version of the app will be submitted to the App Store once fixed, which may take 24–48 hours to go live after approval.
  • All affected accounts will be revalidated once the update is live.

Temporary Workaround

  • If you require urgent access, please contact support@wifey4lifey.co.uk with your account email.
  • We can manually verify and activate accounts during this maintenance window.
